McGaugh Families,
All of us have heard of the devastation in Haiti as a result of the earthquake. This devastation has affected every family and the children in Haiti. To offer our support and to encourage philanthropic activities among our students, we will be having a "Hats for Haiti" day on January 20, 2010. We encourage all students to wear a hat to school and to make a donation to the relief effort taking place in Haiti. No donation is too small and I encourage students to consider donating their own money. If parents want to make their donation with a check, please make the check out to The American Red Cross and in the memo line, please write for the Haitian Relief Fund. Donations will be collected in each class and combined for a total donation from McGaugh Elementary School.
